He doesn't get out of bed for anything less than $10,000...
Just kidding! However, Jacob really has started his modeling "career." Sometimes Jacob and I will go into my mom's office to have lunch with her (she works at Infantino, a baby toy company) and all the girls in the office love to see Jacob. About a month ago Jacob, Ryan, and I were asked to participate in a product photo shoot. It was definitely an experience with all the make-up and the clothes, the photographer, and about 20 people standing around watching us, telling us what to do. We thought that would be the end of the modeling for our family - just a one time experience for us - but they asked Jacob to participate in another photo shoot!
The second shoot was much different. Only babies were modeling, but all the parents there we so into their child's modeling career, it was a little weird! Jacob was playing with one girl who was on the cover of a magazine this month and she's going to audition for TV shows. Seeing this new culture really made me realize that I did not want my child to be put through all that - a few shoots through Infantino are one thing, dragging your child all over the place for auditions is quite another.
So, your probably wondering how did Jacob did... The first shoot, he was great! The photographer was able to get a bunch of great pictures really quickly. The second shoot, not so well. He was full of smiles while we were waiting for his turn, but as soon as he was up, he was not a happy camper. He actually started crying at one point! Which is something he doesn't do out of the blue like that. The photographer only got about 4 good shots. Oh well, I guess that is what happens when you work with babies.
I'll let you know if our pictures get selected for a product.
