Standing up

What a change Jacob has had in the past week - he has started pulling himself up on things to standing! At first, he really struggled and needed a little help to get up, but now he is a standing machine. If he encounters anything that is remotely raised from the ground, he will firmly place his hands on the object and stand (or in some cases just doubles over, sticking his butt into the air). He likes to use Mami or Daddy to stand on, the fireplace (ugh!), the step into our living room, and books. The funniest is when he "stands" on the books, because they are only a few inches off the floor. We even had to move his crib mattress down since he realized that he could stand in his crib.

He gets so excited when he stands up on things all on his own, he starts bouncing, causing him to topple over! His little face can hardly contain his pride at being able to stand up on things. So cute!

I just can't get over how quickly he is growing!
