Birthday celebration- part two
Ryan's birthday was in November, which we planned to celebrate with a little get together with some friends. However, since I was very sick we had to cancel it. All was not lost though, we decided to invite people over to watch the Charger game and celebrate Ryan's birthday a few weeks later. We had quite a turn out of Charger fans, and even a sprinkling of Cowboy fans who proudly cheered for their team!

Jacob was running around outside with the kids, not wanting to come inside and rejoin the party. One of our neighbors asked Jacob to come inside for cake, and Jacob ran inside! The kid has a sweet tooth. What was even funnier, was when he came inside, he asked one of our friends to move from their chair, then proceeded to push the chair into the kitchen. Once in the kitchen, he stood on the chair to see the cake. His face was beaming! I told him we had to singe Happy Birthday to daddy first, so Jacob went to the drawer, grabbed the candles, and started putting them on the cake - all on his own! He didn't want any help, and actually did a great job putting the candles on the cake so we could finally sing to daddy.

Ethan spent a long time matching up puzzles with Lito
(Notice the snow boots. Ethan had on other shoes and he insisted that Lito take them off and put on his snow boots. He definitely knows what he wants!)
