Kitchen Update

Progress has continued on the kitchen! Ryan took a few days off work to get the ball rolling - he certainly got a lot done!

Demolition is almost accomplished. Ryan left the sink cabinet so we can still wash dishes, but everything else is gone!

The soffit (the decorative box at the ceiling) is completely removed here. Started on some electrical stuff too.

Burning the midnight oil finishing up some electrical stuff so we can turn the power back on in the kitchen. Notice the peninsula is gone - you can see the outline on the wall behind Ryan.

We've moved on to construction! The pony wall was put up on Sunday and the gas line for the range was run too.

I just had to include this picture - we call this "savage chic". The sink cabinet Ryan left behind is kinda falling apart...
