8 Year Anniversary!!!

On June 8th, Ryan and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary. We were reminiscing about all the fun stuff we've done and all of our accomplishments during that time - it seems like it should be more than 8 years, but its also gone by so quickly!

To celebrate, Ryan and I went to the Temecula valley Balloon and Wine Festival on June 7th - without the kids. We had so much fun wine tasting and listening to music. We also got to watch a freestyle motorcross demonstration - that was very cool!!! It is amazing what they can do on their motorcycles!

On June 8th, we continued our celebration with a family day. Ryan took the day off work and we had a very nice day together. We enjoyed the morning at home, then decided to go check out the San Diego Bay. Jacob fell asleep in the car, so Ryan, Ethan, and I played on the grass while Jacob napped. Once Jacob woke up, we went for a little walk along the bay.


From the bay, Ryan felt like eating some fish tacos, so we headed to the Brigantine in Point Loma. We felt like we were on vacation - just going where ever we wanted. We had plans to go have dinner later that evening, but after 2 fish tacos each and some cheesy bread, we had to skip dinner. It was nice that we were the only people in the Oyster Bar.


After the Brigantine, we took our full belly's to the playground on Shelter Island - right next to where we got married 8 years ago. We had a great time playing on the slide and on the swings.



We had such a great time on both days. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family. I am looking forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with my hubby and my boys. Love you!!!
